New Delhi, June 26 (APAC Media): Senior IAS officer Nivedita Shukla Verma has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
Shukla is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
She is currently serving as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
She takes over the additional responsibility following the exit of Sanjay Jaju from the post.
The arrangement has been made to ensure continuity in the functioning of the ministry until a regular appointment is made.
