New Delhi, July 13(APAC Media): Anthropic has extended free access to its Claude Fable 5 AI model for paid subscribers by another week. The company confirmed that eligible users will now be able to use the model until July 19, while the temporary 50% increase in Claude Code’s weekly rate limits will also remain in place during this period.
The extension applies to Claude Pro, Max, Team and premium seat-based Enterprise subscribers. Under the current offer, users can access Claude Fable 5 using up to 50% of their regular weekly usage limit without paying additional usage charges. Once that limit is reached, subscribers can either switch to another Claude model or purchase usage credits to continue using Fable 5.
Anthropic first restored access to Claude Fable 5 on July 1 and introduced the promotional offer for paid subscribers. The offer was originally scheduled to end on July 7, before being extended to July 12. The latest update pushes the deadline to July 19, 2026, according to the company’s support documentation.
After the promotional period ends, Claude Fable 5 will no longer be included within subscribers’ weekly usage limits. Users who want continued access to the model will need to enable usage credits, which are billed separately from their subscription plans.
Claude Fable 5 is available across Claude Web, Mobile, Desktop, Claude Code, Claude Design, Claude Cowork, Claude for Microsoft 365 and Claude for Teams. Users accessing the model through Claude Code must be running version 2.1.170 or later. The company said eligible subscribers do not need to manually activate the offer, as access is automatically available under their existing plans.
