Noida, July 22 (APAC Media): IndusInd Bank on Wednesday reported a 72% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,037 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 604 crore recorded in the corresponding period a year earlier.
The bank’s net revenue declined 5% year-on-year to ₹6,471 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹6,797 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26.
Net Interest Income (NII) for Q1 FY27 increased 1% year-on-year to ₹4,685 crore, compared with ₹4,640 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26.

Gross NPA stood at 3.25% of gross advances as on June 30, 2026, improving from 3.43% as on March 31, 2026. Net NPA declined to 0.95% of net advances as of June 30, 2026, compared with 1.00% at the end of March 31, 2026.
The Provision Coverage Ratio stood at 71.42% as of June 30, 2026.
Provisions and contingencies (excluding tax) for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, were at ₹1,384 crore, compared with ₹1,760 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

At the same time, our investments in technology and AI-led capabilities are enhancing customer experience and overall productivity, strengthening our ability to deliver sustainable growth,” said Rajiv Anand, CEO, IndusInd Bank.
The bank’s balance sheet size stood at ₹5,54,926 crore as on June 30, 2026, compared with ₹5,39,552 crore as on June 30, 2025.

Deposits increased to ₹414,766 crore as of June 30, 2026, from ₹397,144 crore a year earlier. CASA deposits stood at ₹1,22,060 crore, comprising 29.43% of total deposits, with current account deposits at ₹34,620 crore and savings account deposits at ₹87,440 crore.
Retail deposits, as per LCR norms, stood at ₹190,166 crore as of June 30, 2026, compared with ₹182,898 crore as of March 31, 2026.
Advances stood at ₹32,62,740 crore as on June 30, 2026, compared with ₹33,36,940 crore as on June 30, 2025.
As of June 30, 2026, the bank’s distribution network comprised 3,137 branches/banking outlets and 2,853 onsite and offsite ATMs, compared with 3,110 branches/banking outlets and 3,052 onsite and offsite ATMs as of June 30, 2025. The bank’s client base stood at approximately 42 million as of June 2026.
