New Delhi, June 1(APAC Media): Oracle has expanded its AI capabilities for supply chain management with the launch of four new agentic applications and additional inventory optimization features in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM). The update comes as businesses continue to deal with supply chain disruptions, rising costs, and the need for better inventory planning.
AI For Supply Chain Operations
The newly introduced applications are designed to automate routine supply chain tasks while helping teams identify operational risks earlier. The Inventory Planning Command Center focuses on improving inventory visibility and reducing stock shortages. The Supplier Qualification Workspace is aimed at speeding up supplier approvals while helping procurement teams monitor compliance and supplier-related risks.
Oracle has also introduced the Production Readiness Workspace to help manufacturers detect setup issues before production begins. Another addition, the Kanban Administrative Workspace, is designed to improve inventory replenishment and reduce production delays through automated monitoring and exception-based management.
Inventory Optimization Features
Alongside the new AI applications, Oracle has added advanced inventory optimization capabilities to its supply chain planning platform. These include multi-echelon inventory optimization, which recommends safety stock levels across supply chain networks, and an interactive inventory network visualization tool that provides planners with a clearer view of inventory performance and supply chain dependencies.
The company has also launched an Inventory Optimization Advisor Agent that identifies factors affecting service levels, analyzes inventory risks, and recommends safety stock adjustments. The new AI-powered tools operate within Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and are intended to help organizations improve planning, procurement, manufacturing, and inventory management while allowing human teams to review critical decisions when needed.
