New Delhi, July 8(APAC Media): Whatfix has partnered with PTC to help manufacturers improve the adoption of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software across engineering and operational teams.
The partnership will allow manufacturers using PTC Windchill to integrate Whatfix’s AI-powered digital adoption platform into their existing workflows. The companies aim to address a common challenge faced by manufacturers, low software adoption despite significant investments in enterprise technology.
Manufacturers in sectors such as automotive, industrial equipment and medical devices increasingly rely on PLM software to manage product design, compliance and collaboration. However, many organizations struggle with employee training, process consistency and effective use of enterprise applications. According to a Forrester study commissioned by Whatfix, ineffective digital adoption can result in millions of dollars in annual productivity losses for mid-sized enterprises.
Under the partnership, Whatfix will provide in-app guidance, workflow assistance and adoption analytics within PTC Windchill. The platform is designed to help engineering and operations teams complete tasks faster, improve onboarding, reduce support requests and increase consistency across business processes.
The companies said the integration is intended to help manufacturers improve software utilization, strengthen compliance and reduce operational inefficiencies while accelerating returns from PLM investments. The move also reflects growing demand for AI-driven tools that simplify enterprise software adoption as manufacturers continue their digital transformation initiatives.
