New Engine And Gearbox
The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 uses a new 124.58cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine that produces 12.1hp at 8,500rpm and 11.4Nm at 6,500rpm. Compared with the previous model, power has increased by 0.3hp while torque is up by 0.6Nm.
Bajaj has also replaced the earlier gearbox with a new five-speed unit. The company says the revised gearing is aimed at improving low-speed performance and tractive effort. It has also claimed quicker 0-60kph acceleration, although an official acceleration time has not been announced.
New Frame And Suspension
The motorcycle now gets a diamond-type frame with the engine used as a stressed member. Bajaj says the revised structure increases stiffness and is intended to improve stability and handling.
Another major mechanical change is the addition of a gas-charged monoshock at the rear, replacing the conventional twin-shock setup used on the earlier Pulsar 125.
5-Inch TFT Console And Ride Modes
The new Pulsar 125 also receives a 5-inch TFT instrument console. It supports Google Maps navigation and can display call and message alerts, music controls and vehicle documents.
The motorcycle comes with three riding modes — Road, Rain and Sport. It also gets Crawl Tech, which is designed to offer better control when riding at very low speeds in heavy traffic.
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Price In India
The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 is available in multiple variants. Prices start at Rs 92,990 for the LCD-equipped version and go up to Rs 1.04 lakh for the top-spec TFT variant.
The top three variants also get an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), which enables start-stop functionality and silent engine starts. With these changes, Bajaj has positioned the Pulsar 125 as a more feature-focused alternative in the competitive 125cc motorcycle segment.
