New Delhi, August 12(APAC Media): Motorola has confirmed more than 50 smartphones for the Android 17 update, giving users a clearer idea of which devices are set to receive the next major Android version.
The list covers phones across the Razr, Edge and Moto G series, along with the Motorola Signature. It includes newer models such as the Razr 70 Ultra, Razr Ultra 2026, Razr Fold 2026, Edge 70 Pro+, Edge 70 Pro, Edge 70 Max, Edge 60 Pro and Moto G87.
Other eligible models include the Razr 60 series, Razr 50 Ultra, Edge 2025, Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 60, Edge 50 Ultra, Moto G Stylus 2026, Moto G Power 2026, Moto G Play 2026 and Moto G86 Power.
The Moto G Max is also listed for Android 17. This could be relevant for buyers considering the recently announced model, as Motorola’s support information now points to Android 17 compatibility.
Motorola’s software support system is based on individual product pages rather than one fixed master list. The company also warns that its upgrade plans can change and that software availability may vary by device, region, carrier and distribution channel.
This means being listed as eligible does not guarantee that every phone will receive Android 17 at the same time. Testing and certification can affect the rollout schedule, with different markets potentially receiving the update at different times.
The Motorola Edge 60 Neo remains outside the confirmed list for now. Its support page does not explicitly show Android 17 as the next operating system, so it has not been counted among the confirmed devices.
Motorola has already begun the Android 17 rollout for some models, while the wider release is expected to happen in stages. Users can check Motorola’s official software upgrade page to verify the latest update status for their specific phone.
