New Delhi, August 3 (APAC Media): NTPC Unchahar has launched a new skill development programme for unemployed youth under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The programme was launched in collaboration with the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Lucknow. It was inaugurated by Diwakar Kaushik, Regional Executive Director (North) and CEO (NSPCL), in the presence of senior officials including S. N. Panigrahi, Executive Director (HR), North and South Region; Biswa Mohan Singh, Executive Director, NTPC Unchahar; and Vivek Kumar, Joint Director and Head, CIPET Lucknow.Â
Under the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), 60 youth from 15 nearby Gram Panchayats, including 22 women, will receive industry-oriented skill training to enhance their employability.
By partnering with CIPET, NTPC Unchahar seeks to promote sustainable livelihood generation and support inclusive community development in the surrounding villages. The programme also reflects the company’s continued commitment to empowering local communities through education, skill development, and capacity-building initiatives under its CSR framework.
