Noida, Sep 15 (APAC Media): Rishav Gandhi has been appointed Vice President – People & Culture, Eurasia and Middle East at The Coca-Cola Company, according to an announcement shared by Gandhi.
Gandhi announced the new role on social media, saying he was “happy to share” that he was starting a new position with the global beverage major.
In his new role, Gandhi will oversee people and culture priorities across the Eurasia and Middle East regions, working with leadership teams on talent, organisational culture and employee-related initiatives.
The appointment marks a new leadership responsibility for Gandhi, who brings experience in human resources and people management to the regional role.
Gandhi’s mandate comes as companies across markets continue to focus on strengthening leadership capabilities, building talent pipelines and developing workplace cultures aligned with evolving business needs.
The Coca-Cola Company operates across a wide range of markets globally, with its people and culture function playing a key role in supporting business growth and organisational transformation.
Gandhi joined Coca-Cola after a stint with Deloitte, where he worked as a management consultant in Atlanta from July 2016 to January 2019. At Deloitte, he advised Fortune 500 companies on strategic human capital and operating-model challenges. His work covered human capital analytics, operations transformation, change management, organisational effectiveness, organisational development and organisation design across sectors such as telecommunications, technology, retail and hospitality.
In February 2021, Gandhi was elevated to Senior Director – Talent & Development, Latin America, where he led talent and development strategy for the Latin America Operating Unit. He was subsequently appointed Vice President, People & Culture in April 2023, taking responsibility for people strategy and culture for Global Marketing and The McDonald’s Division.
Before joining Deloitte, Gandhi spent about seven years with Airtel, progressing from management trainee to leadership roles spanning HR business partnering, analytics, organisation design, performance and rewards.
He eventually became Director – Total Rewards & Organisation Effectiveness, overseeing the Total Rewards function across Airtel’s pan-African operations in 17 countries.
Gandhi holds an MBA in Strategy and Decision Science from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and an MBA in Human Resources from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
Gandhi’s appointment is expected to further strengthen the company’s people leadership across the Eurasia and Middle East regions.
