New Delhi, September 15 (APAC Media): Apple today announced the rollout of its latest software updates, introducing a new Siri AI experience, enhanced Apple Intelligence features, and expanded parental controls across its ecosystem in India.
The updates include iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, and tvOS 27. The next-generation Siri, which is being introduced as a beta, will initially be available in English. Support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish is expected to be added in October.
iCloud Subscribers Get More Benefits in India
Separately, Apple announced that iCloud subscribers in India will receive access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of their subscription, at no additional cost. The bundled offering is set to roll out this month.
iCloud plans in India will start at Rs 75 per month for 50GB of storage. Subscribers will also receive access to Apple Music Select, which features a collection of ad-free music stations.
Apple TV provides access to the company’s original films and series, while Apple Arcade offers more than 200 games without advertisements or in-app purchases.
Apple Changes Subscription Options
Apple said the combined iCloud, Apple TV, and Apple Arcade offering will roll out across more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September.
In India, Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as individual subscriptions directly through Apple. Existing subscribers will continue accessing the services through their iCloud subscription, with their standalone subscriptions cancelled.
Apple One will also no longer be available to new subscribers in India, although existing subscribers will continue to receive their current benefits.
