New Delhi, September 15 (APAC Media): Bank of Baroda has launched bob World 2.0, a next-generation mobile banking application powered by artificial intelligence (AI), marking a significant step in its digital banking transformation.
The new platform is designed to move beyond conventional mobile banking by combining AI-driven engagement, voice-enabled services, personalised experiences, financial management tools, and real-time security on a single platform.
AI-Powered Banking Experience
bob World 2.0 comes with four key capabilities aimed at making digital banking more intuitive, personalised and secure.
Its voice-enabled payments and navigation feature allows customers to initiate transactions and access banking functionalities through voice commands, bringing AI-powered interaction directly into everyday banking.
The application also includes a Personal Financial Management (PFM) module, designed to provide customers with a holistic view of their finances and support better financial awareness and wellness.
Another key feature is hyper-personalisation, with persona-based customer experiences tailored to individual needs and preferences. The platform also incorporates a multi-layered security framework designed to provide real-time protection across digital banking interactions.
Bank of Baroda’s Digital Banking Push
The launch reflects the broader shift in India’s banking sector towards AI-led, customer-centric digital services, where mobile platforms are increasingly becoming the primary interface between banks and customers.
Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda, said customers increasingly expect banking experiences that are intuitive, intelligent, secure and highly personalised.
He said bob World 2.0 brings together financial wellness tools, voice-enabled AI-driven engagement and personalised customer experiences on a single platform.
