New Delhi, September 22 (APAC Media): NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has partnered with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to explore renewable energy-powered data centres and other green digital infrastructure.
The MoU was exchanged during SemiCon India 2026 in New Delhi through NLCIL’s green energy subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL).
Renewable Energy Meets Advanced Computing
Under the partnership, NIRL and C-DAC will explore opportunities combining renewable energy with advanced computing and digital technologies.
Key areas include:
- Renewable energy-powered data centres
- Solar, wind and energy storage
- High-Performance Computing (HPC)
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Quantum Computing
- Green digital infrastructure
MoU Exchanged at SemiCon India 2026
The MoU was exchanged by Ramachandra Parashar, Director, NIRL, and Dr S.D. Sudarsan, Executive Director, C-DAC.
The exchange was witnessed by Amitesh Kumar Sinha, Additional Secretary, MeitY, and R.P.S. Sisodia, Director (Planning & Projects), NLCIL.
The partnership will explore technology support and consultancy for developing sustainable, energy-efficient digital infrastructure powered by clean energy.
