New Delhi, September 21(APAC Media): Xiaomi will launch the 18 Pro series in China on September 23. The company has confirmed the launch date along with key details about the display, battery and cameras of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
The new smartphones will feature a hardware-level privacy display designed to limit screen visibility from side angles. The feature is similar to the privacy display introduced on Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Display
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will use a new M11 luminescent panel. Xiaomi claims the panel is 20% more efficient than the previous generation and can reach a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The phones will also have ultra-thin 0.99mm bezels.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Battery And Cameras
The Xiaomi 18 Pro will pack a 7,000mAh battery, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will feature an 8,500mAh battery. Both models will come with Leica-branded triple rear cameras.
The camera setup will include a 200MP primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The phones will also run HyperOS 4 and feature an upgraded rear display.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Processor And Colours
Xiaomi has confirmed that the 18 Pro series will use a 2nm chipset. Reports suggest the processor could be Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the processor name.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will be available in Black, Galaxy Blue and White colour options. Xiaomi is expected to reveal pricing and other details at the September 23 launch event.
