Shimla: In a major reshuffle the Himachal Pradesh government on Monday transferred 22 Indian Administrative Service (IAS), and Himachal Administrative Service officers.
As per the government order Additional Chief Secretary (Health) RD Dhiman, who has been replaced by Amitabh Avasthi, Secretary, Horticulture and Irrigation and Public Health (IPH). Dhiman has been made Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, and will continue to hold the charge of Language, Art and Culture. Prabodh Saxena, ACS (Finance) has been given the additional charge of Personnel.
Onkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary (Revenue and Agriculture), has been given additional charge of Technical Education and Chairman of the Appellate Tax Tribunal at Dharamsala.
GK Srivastava, Divisional Commissioner, Shimla, has been given additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Mandi, in place of Vikas Labroo, who has been posted as Secretary, Irrigation and Public Health in place of Amitabh Avasthi. SS Guleria, Labour Commissioner-cum-Director Employment, has been given the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra.
