Frankfurt: DE-CIX has been honored in the 2021 Global Carrier Awards in the categories Best Internet Exchange operator and Best Marketing Campaign. DE-CIX has now earned the award for Best Internet Exchange six times since its inception in 2015. The DE-CIX 25 Years anniversary campaign, “Without You”, for which the company was awarded the Best Marketing Campaign 2021, highlighted the contributions of the many and diverse players in the digital infrastructure industry in the development of today’s Internet. After a purely virtual event last year, the award was presented yesterday evening in person in the hybrid Global Carrier Awards ceremony.

The Global Carrier Awards are awarded annually and honor innovations, vision, and excellence in both regional and the global market for telecommunications, data centers, and Internet Exchanges. The jury comprises of analysts from the area of telecommunications, industry experts, and leading editors of the specialist publication Capacity Magazine.
