New Delhi: Domestic automobile company, Tata Motors has launched its new micro SUV Tata Punch in the Indian market and starting price has been kept at Rs 5.49 lakh.
The company claims that the Tata Punch manual transmission will have a mileage of 18.97 kmpl and the AMT transmission variants will have a mileage of up to 18.82 kmpl and it is ARAI certified.
Tata Punch has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.49 lakh, which is the price of its Pure Trim Level variant. Its Adventure trim level is priced at Rs 6.39 lakh, Accomplished trim level is priced at Rs 7.29 lakh and Creative trim level is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh.
The AMT option of Adventure, Accomplished and Creative trim costs Rs 60,000 more than the manual variants. That is, the price of the top model Tata Punch Creative Trim Level AMT will be Rs 9.09 lakh. These are all introductory prices. Let us tell you that Tata Punch has been introduced with XE, XM, XT, XZ variants. It also gets 2 driving modes like Eco and City. In terms of safety, Tata Punch has got a 5 star rating in the Global NCAP Car Crash Safety Test.
The Tata Punch is based on the company’s ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform. It is powered by a 1.2 liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is capable of generating up to 85bhp power and 113Nm torque.
