New Delhi: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) in conjunction with the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) organized an Awareness Programme for the youth at Zakir Husain Delhi College in New Delhi. This was part of a large number of educational programs NMNH organizes throughout the year consisting of museum studies, discussion sessions, outdoor nature explorations, observation and analysis of pollution problems in the urban environment, individual project assignments and exposure to the ecosystem in a National Park or Wildlife Sanctuary in India.
Dr Deeraj Mittal, AIG, MOEFCC delivered a talkin the session on Climate Change Negotiations and Bringing the Cheetah Back to India. The five females and three males were moved from a game park in Namibiato MP a few months back.
Dr C R Magesh, Scientist C, NMNH delivered a talk on Mission LiFE (lLifestyle For Environment) n which 412 students of various departments participated. The students also performed a Nukad Natak on Mission Life.
