Odisha Govt Assigns New Roles to Three IAS Officers; IAS Arugula Sneha Made Commissioner, Puri Municipal Corporation

Bhubaneswar: In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha government has assigned new responsibilities to three IAS officers. Accordingly, IAS Arugula Sneha (2022 batch) has been appointed as the Chief Development and Executive Officer of Puri Zilla Parishad.

Additionally, Sneha will also hold the charge of Commissioner of the Puri Municipal Corporation. She was previously serving as the Sub- Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Padmapur.

In a similar move, the state government has also appointed IAS Akshay Pille (2022 batch) as the Chief Development and Executive Officer of Jagatsinghpur Zilla Parishad. He previously served as the SDM of Bonai in the Sundargarh district.

Further, IAS Kasturi Panda (2023 batch) has been transferred and posted as SDM of Baripada in the Mayurbhanj district. She previously served as the SDM of Karanjia.

The transfers aim to strengthen district-level administration.
