New Delhi: IAS officer Manmeet Kaur Nanda was recently appointed the Joint Secretary to the Cabinet Secretariat after approval from the Union Government. She belongs to the West Bengal cadre, from the 2000 batch.
She has previously served in the position of Joint Secretary in the Department of Internal Trade and Industry Promotion.
Nanda is taking over this role from IAS officer Ajay Yadav, who belongs to the Tamil Nadu cadre, 2006-batch. Yadav’s central deputation term reached its conclusion on November 10, 2023.
