4 IAS and 44 PCS officer reshuffled in Punjab

Chandigarh: The Punjab government recently ordered the transfer and posting of 4 IAS officers that are as follows:

• IAS officer Nitesh Kumar Jain, from the 2021 batch, has been posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Sardulgarg, taking over from PCS officer Amarinder Singh Malhi.
• IAS officer Simrandeep Singh, from the 2021 batch, has been appointed as the SDM of Tarn Taran against a vacant post.
• IAS officer Aparna M B, from the 2021 batch, will take charge as the SDM of Malerkotla against a vacant post.
• IAS officer Akshita Gupta, from the 2021 batch, has been posted as the SDM of Shaheed Bhagat SIngh Nagar, taking over from PCS officer Shivraj Singh Bay.

44 PCS were also posted, including PCS Nayan (2012) as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) (General) of Sri Muktsar Sahib; PCS Lovjeet Kalsi (2012) as Additional Chief Administrator (ACA) of Bhatinda Development Authority, with an additional charge of ADC (Rural Development), Bhatinda; PCS Amit Mahajan as Secretary of Regional Transport Authority of Jalandhar, with an additional charge as ADC (General) of Jalandhar; and PCS Varinderpal Singh Bajwa (2012) as ADC (Rural Development) with additional charge of the ADC (General) in Tarn Taran.
