New Delhi: The second edition of India Energy Week (IEW) 2024 is scheduled to take place in Goa from February 6 to 9, as announced by event organizers recently. The Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) will spearhead the IEW under the guidance of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India during this period.
Director General of FIPI, Gurmeet Singh, revealed in a press conference held in Goa recently that IEW aims to foster meaningful discussions, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote collaboration among industry experts, policymakers, academia, and entrepreneurs.
Singh said that IEW 2024 will highlight India’s intricate energy landscape, showcasing a diverse energy mix, rapid growth in renewable energy, and addressing challenges related to energy access, urbanisation, and economic development in the context of combating climate change.
The organisers are optimistic about the impact of IEW 2024, expecting it to attract over 35,000 attendees, 350 exhibitors, more than 400 speakers, and 4,000 delegates from over 100 countries.
