Raipur: In the wake of the recently formed government in Chhattisgarh, several IAS officers, Block Medical officers and Food officers were transferred and posted. The reshuffle includes the following key changes:
- IAS officer P. Dayanand has been appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister. He will also assume the role of Additional Secretary of the Medical Education Services Department.
- IAS Subrata Sahu has been relieved from the position of Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister.
- Several secretaries of the Chief Minister, namely IAS Pardeshi Siddharth Komal, IAS Ankit Anand, IAS Dr. S. Bharathidasan, and IAS DD Singh, have been removed from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. However, they are yet to be relieved from their responsibilities in other departments.
- Three officers, including Dr. Subhash Singh Raj of the State Administrative Service, have been appointed as Officers on Special Duty (OSD).
- Five OSDs of the State Administrative Service have been removed, namely Arun Kumar Markam, Dr. Suraj Kumar Kashyap, Devendra Pradhan, Umesh Patel, and Vishal Kumar Maharana. They will be officially relieved once Dr. Subhash Raj assumes charge.
Moreover, transfer orders for the Block Medical Officer (BMO) and Food Officer have been issued in Jashpur. As per the directive from the Office of the Collector (Food Branch) District Jashpur, Dr. Sylvester Tirkey, a surgery specialist, will take charge as the new BMO in place of Sandhya Rani Toppo in Kansabel. Additionally, Hemprakash Bhardwaj will assume the role of Food Inspector of Farsabahar, replacing Alauddin Khan.
