New Delhi: Bandhan Bank has announced the appointment of Rajeev Mantri, formerly with Citi India, as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). In compliance with regulatory filings, Bandhan Bank informed that Mantri’s appointment is effective from February 22, 2024.
The decision was made during the bank’s board meeting held on February 22, 2024.
Consequently, Abhijit Ghosh, the interim CFO and KMP, ceased his role upon Mantri’s appointment. However, Ghosh will continue to lead the finance and accounts department and remain an integral part of the senior management team.
Rajeev Mantri served as the CFO of Citi India cluster for the past three years. With over 25 years of experience in banking and finance across various regions including India, Singapore, and the UAE, Mantri has held prominent positions in global banks like Standard Chartered and Citi.
Mantri’s qualifications include being a Chartered Accountant from ICAI India and holding an Executive MBA from INSEAD Business School, Singapore.
