New Delhi: NTPC Limited recently announced the commissioning of a 14 MW capacity of the Ayodhya Solar Photovoltaic Project by its green energy subsidiary.
The subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Ltd, which is wholly-owned by NTPC, is currently in the process of setting up a 40 MW solar project in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
According to NTPC, following successful commissioning and necessary approvals, the first phase capacity of 14 MW out of the total 40 MW Ayodhya Solar Project has been declared commercially operational since January 27, 2024.
This development brings the installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC Group to 73,888 MW.
