New Delhi: Tata Elxsi, a design and tech services company, is teaming up with Dräger, a medical and safety tech provider, to boost critical care innovation in India. They’re setting up a new Offshore Development Center (ODC) at Tata Elxsi’s Pune facility, where Dräger will work on advanced critical care medical devices for both Indian and global markets.
The ODC will serve as the hub where workers from both Tata Elxsi and Dräger collaborate to create groundbreaking critical care medical devices for Operation Theatre (OT) settings globally. With state-of-the-art facilities like medical-grade gases and testing gear, the centre aims to maintain the highest safety and effectiveness standards during product development.
Shalin Patel, Managing Director of Draeger India Group, said, “By leveraging Tata Elxsi’s ecosystem and expertise in technology and design, we are setting new standards in critical care equipment that will ultimately benefit patients worldwide.”
