Kolkata: In an administrative reshuffle, four IAS officers have been transferred in West Bengal:
- IAS officer Moumita Godara Basu, from the 2007 batch IAS, is currently serving as the Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department. Godara has been appointed as District Magistrate of Jhargram, replacing IAS officer Sunil Agarwala.
- IAS officer K Radhika Aiyar is currently posted as the Project Director of KEIIP. The 2011 batch officer will now serve as District Magistrate of Purba Bardhaman, replacing IAS officer Bidhan Chandra Ray.
- IAS officer Shashank Sethi, from the 2010 batch, who was the Managing Director of West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation Limited, has been posted as the District Magistrate of Birbhum, replacing IAS Purnendu Kumar Maji.
- IAS officer Joyoshi Das Gupta currently serving as the Senior Special Secretary in Tribal Development Department, has been appointed as District Magistrate of Purba Medinipur. The 2010 batch officer is replacing IAS Tanvir Afzal.
