Mumbai: Anuj Tyagi has been appointed as the new Managing Director and CEO of HDFC ERGO General Insurance, with effect from July 1, 2024. Ritesh Kumar, who has led the company for 16 years, is stepping down, and Tyagi will take over.
Tyagi has been employed by the Company since 2008 and has held a variety of positions. In April 2023, he was promoted to the position of Joint Managing Director. Tyagi joins the company with a background of more than 25 years of banking and insurance experience. He has worked in many different areas, including sales channels, reinsurance, underwriting, claims, technology, and human resources.
