New Delhi: Jakson Group has appointed Venkat Muvvala as the President and Chief Business Officer for Infra & EPC. He has been promoted to the position within the company.
Venkat has over 30 years of experience in the Power Generation and Infrastructure sector, specializing in Renewable Energy, Transmission & Distribution projects, and Gas Power projects. He has overseen the entire project lifecycle from Concept to Commissioning, with a focus on asset management and ROI optimization. With over 12 years in business leadership roles, Venkat has managed P&L responsibilities and executed a diverse portfolio of projects. His expertise spans Project Development, Contracting, EPC Project Management & Execution, and Asset Life Cycle Management. Notably, he led the execution of 2GW of Solar PV projects and the development of an additional 2.5 GW, along with 10 GW of gas-based power projects, including those using hydrogen-rich syngas fuels.
His past roles include serving as Chief Operating Officer of Jakson Group’s EPC Business Vertical. He has also headed EPC and O&M Business Vertical at Vikram Solar, and leading Business P&L of GE Gas Power for South Asia. Venkat’s strategic vision and operational acumen make him a valuable addition to Jakson Group.
