New Delhi: PNB MetLife India Insurance Co Ltd has appointed Sameer Bansal as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
Bansal has over 25 years of experience in financial services, especially in the field of distribution through various models such as Bancassurance, Agency, Digital, Employee Benefits, and Direct Marketing. He joined PNB MetLife in 2007 and currently serves as the Chief Distribution Officer (CDO) and a member of the leadership team.
He is taking charge from Ashish Srivastava, who has been named Managing Director for MetLife Inc’s Global Shared Services in India. MetLife has 149 branches across more than 18,600 locations through extensive bank partnerships.
“I am honoured to take on this role. We are in a fast changing and competitive market place with significant opportunities and I am very excited to lead our company as we deliver on our Circle of Life promise to our customers, and live our purpose: Milkar Life Aage Badhaein, for all our stakeholders,” Bansal said.
