Thiruvananthapuram: Dr KK Saju has been appointed as the interim vice-chancellor of Kannur University by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. Dr Saju is a senior professor at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and is taking charge from the current interim VC, S. Binjoy Nandan following his retirement.
Dr Saju is the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of CUSAT and will continue to serve in this role along with serving as the interim VC until further notice. He will assume his new responsibilities from June 1, 2024. He has an MTech degree from the National Institute of Technology and a BTech degree from the Government Engineering College, Thrissur. Prof Saju is also a United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) International Education Administrators Seminar (IEAS) Fulbright Scholar.
