Mumbai: In a recent reshuffle, two senior IAS officers have been assigned new roles in Maharashtra. IAS Manojkumar Suryawanshi has been appointed as the Managing Director of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, Mumbai.
Prior to this, Suryawanshi served as Upper Joint Secretary in the Department of Food and Civil Supplies. His previous assignments include Deputy Commissioner of Revenue in the Nagpur division and various administrative posts in Bhandara and Wardha districts. Suryawanshi is a 2010 batch officer in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
IAS M.V. Mohite has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Smart City Pune. Before this appointment, Mohite was the Managing Director of Annasaheb Patil Arthik Vikas Mahamandal, Mumbai. Mohite is a 2011 batch officer in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
