Jaipur: The Government of Rajasthan has announced the transfer of six senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The reshuffle includes the appointment of Prakash C. Sharma as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister.
Prakash C. Sharma, an experienced IAS officer, has been appointed to assist the Chief Minister, bringing his extensive administrative expertise to the role. This appointment is part of a broader administrative restructuring aimed at optimizing governance and ensuring efficient administration in the state.
The other transfers include:
– Rajesh Yadav, previously posted as Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department.
– Bhaskar A. Sawant, formerly the Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, will now serve as Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department.
– Subodh Agarwal, who was serving as Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, has been transferred to the Mines and Petroleum Department.
– Niraj K. Pawan, previously posted as Secretary, Personnel Department, has been appointed as Secretary, Mines and Petroleum Department.
– Ashok Kumar Jain, who served as Secretary, Mines and Petroleum Department, will now be the Secretary, Personnel Department.
– Arti Dogra, who held the position of Managing Director, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, has been appointed as Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
These strategic appointments and transfers reflect the state government’s commitment to enhancing administrative efficiency and delivering effective governance across various departments.
