Mumbai: RentenPe has unveiled the R-Card, India’s first digital rental identity. Acting as a digital ID, the R-Card offers tenants access to better rental deals, faster approvals, and potential rent discounts. For landlords, it provides verified tenant profiles and early rent facilities, simplifying the rental process and enhancing trust.
RentenPe claims it is set to transform India’s rental landscape by integrating rent payments into the financial system. The platform, built over three years of research, aims to address inefficiencies in the residential rental market with innovative services like Rent Credit Scoring. RentenPe’s founders include Sharad Kachalia of Navnit Group, Gopal Shukla, an IIT Bombay alumnus, and Shantanu Yadav, a serial entrepreneur.
With the launch of the R-Card and Rent Credit Score, RentenPe is poised to create a more secure and equitable future for both tenants and landlords across India.
