New Delhi: Air India has introduced the all-new Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the Delhi-London Heathrow route as part of the ‘new Air India initiative’. Under the initiative, the airline customers will get to experience the new soft product of the company, ‘vista verse’, which will offer new chinaware, tableware, glassware, bedding, and entertainment system. According to Air India, the product and its services will help in elevating passengers’ experience during the flight.
The new aircraft will offer the following updated services:
- It will feature a renewed cabin layout which includes full-flat beds in Business Class, modernized Premium Economy, and new and comfortable seats in the Economy Class.
- All the passengers will have access to the inflight entertainment system which will offer 3000 hours of content. On-board wifi will also be soon available on this aircraft.
- Business and Premium Economy passengers will get updated amenity kits.
- Passengers will also benefit from the new and sustainable bed linen and lightweight mattress to enhance comfort.
- The food menu at the aircraft will cater to both Indian and International palates.
Air India introduced the A350 series earlier this year which was operational within India and on short-haul international routes. The current Delhi-London A350-900 aircraft will replace the Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on 14 of 17 weekly flights of the route connecting the capital cities of India and the UK. This will result in the availability of an additional 336 seats on the Delh-London Heathrow route every week.
