Gurugram: Techno Electric and Engineering Company Limited (TEECL) has signed a contract with RailTel Corporation of India Limited. The partnership will allow TEECL to design, build, finance, operate, and transfer Edge Data Centres (EDCs) in 102 cities across India. Through this partnership, the company aims to contribute to the Digital India Mission by adopting features that ensure optimal customer experience and drive innovation and progress in various sectors.
With the establishment of Edge Data Centres, TEECL plans to transform digital infrastructure across the country, enhance digital experience, and drive the widespread adoption of digital services among residents of rural and urban areas. In addition, the centres will benefit Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) by enhancing Internet speed and improving network performance, thereby supporting the increasing demand for real-time Internet services.
