Gurugram: Max Life Insurance has entered a bancassurance partnership with CSB Bank to offer a wide range of life insurance products. Through this collaboration, Max Life will provide savings, protection, retirement, and group life insurance plans to more than 2.5 million CSB Bank customers. Bancassurance, a model where insurance companies partner with banks to distribute policies, allows the bank to earn commissions while insurers expand their reach.
Sumit Madan, Chief Distribution Officer of Max Life, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its distribution channels and addressing financial protection needs across India. The partnership, he stated, will help bring life insurance to underserved populations and empower CSB Bank’s customers with comprehensive financial solutions.
Narendra Dixit, Head of Retail Banking at CSB Bank, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in enriching the bank’s customer offerings with a broader spectrum of insurance products. This partnership comes as the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) aims to increase insurance penetration.
