Bengaluru: NetApp has deepened its long-standing partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) through a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) to enhance cloud-based data services and accelerate generative AI efforts.
The new agreement focuses on scaling modern data workloads, including AI applications, to meet the growing demand for cloud infrastructure. NetApp’s decade-long collaboration with AWS has resulted in numerous AWS competencies, reinforcing its position in cloud data management. As part of the agreement, both companies are working to integrate NetApp’s data management services, such as Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP, with AWS’s capabilities to optimize cloud operations for businesses.
The partnership is expected to streamline transactions through the AWS Marketplace, allowing customers easier access to NetApp CloudOps solutions. Additionally, new tools like NetApp’s BlueXP workload factory aim to simplify the development of AI applications, particularly in generative AI, by connecting data with AWS foundation models.
This expansion highlights the evolving role of cloud operations in supporting data-rich workloads, helping businesses better manage their cloud investments and drive innovation.
