Patna: Under a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Bihar has transferred 7 IAS Officers. According to the official notice, 4 of the transferred officers have been given additional charges whereas 3 of them have been assigned new posts.
IAS Mihir Kumar Singh (1993 batch) has been given the additional charge of Chief Enquiry Commissioner, GAD. He is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Panchayati Raj Department along with being the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Mining Commissioner of Mines & Geology Department. He is also the Managing Director of the Bihar State Minerals Development Corporation Limited, Patna and Bihar State Mining Corporation Limited and Mines & Geology Department.

IAS Sanjay Kumar Agrawal (2002 batch), the incumbent Secretary of the Agriculture Department with an additional charge of Enquiry Commissioner, GAD, has been assigned the additional charge of the Secretary of the Transport Department.

IAS Deepak Anand (2007 batch), the incumbent Secretary (Expenditure) of the Finance Department with an additional charge of Secretary of the Labour Resources Department, has been now posted as Secretary of the Labour Resources Department.

IAS Ashima Jain (2008 batch), previously posted as the Secretary of the Urban Development & Housing Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department. She has also been given the additional charge of Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.

IAS B Kartikey Dhanji (2008 batch), last serving as the State Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council with an additional charge of MD in the Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation, has also taken the additional charge of Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.

IAS Pranav Kumar (2008 batch), previously holding the post of the Secretary of the Home Department with an additional charge of IG, Prisons and Correctional Services, has been assigned the additional charge of Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.

IASĀ Laxman Tiwari (2021 batch), previously the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department in Patna, has been transferred and assigned the post of Sub- Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Chapra Sadar.
