Mumbai: Bank of Baroda, in collaboration with Microsoft, announced the GenAI Hackathon 2024 winners, which focused on developing innovative solutions using generative AI. The competition, lasting nearly three months, received over 26,000 registrations, with 180 teams moving on to the prototype phase. The top 10 teams presented their solutions at the finale in Mumbai.
The winning team, Goblins, created ComplianceAI, an AI-powered platform to automate banks’ compliance processes. This solution addresses inefficiencies in regulatory compliance by integrating real-time updates and AI-driven monitoring.
In second place, Team Refo and Team Wisteria presented AI-driven platforms targeting lending automation and customer service, respectively. Refo’s solution improves customer onboarding and product launches, while Wisteria’s Seva AI enhances customer interactions using sentiment analysis.
Third place went to Team Cyber Wardens, who developed an AI-powered suite for email and data management, improving operational efficiency.
The winners were awarded cash prizes, with Bank of Baroda announcing plans to further develop and implement these solutions. The hackathon was supported by Microsoft Azure, providing participants with the tools and mentorship needed to bring their ideas to life.
