Gurgaon: Lenskart has brought in Abhishek Gupta, the former CFO of OYO, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Gupta steps into the role following Mukti Hariharan’s exit to Coca-Cola.
Gupta, who spent nine years as CFO at OYO, shared the news on LinkedIn, expressing gratitude to his former colleagues. His move comes as Lenskart focuses on enhancing its financial strategy and corporate governance.
In his new role, Gupta will oversee long-term financial planning and help guide Lenskart’s growth. Before OYO, he held roles at Philips and GE, and has an MBA from the Indian School of Business and Harvard University.
Gupta’s departure from OYO was announced last December, and Rakesh Kumar, an internal executive, was promoted to replace him. Now, Gupta’s experience will help Lenskart as the company moves forward with its plans for expansion.
