Pune: Omnia Technologies, a global player in automation and bottling technologies, has partnered with India’s Economy Process Solutions to expand their presence in the Indian market. The joint venture will set up a manufacturing hub in Pune, focusing on producing equipment for the beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries.
The collaboration will bring together Omnia’s technological expertise and Economy Process Solutions’ local knowledge, aiming to offer affordable, locally made equipment. This move is expected to boost domestic production and reduce reliance on imports.
The Pune facility, called a Centre of Excellence, will focus on innovation and job creation, offering advanced solutions for Indian companies. Rajesh Ahuja, CEO of Economy Process Solutions, said the partnership will make high-end technology more accessible to the local market.
The joint venture will make its debut at Drink Technology India 2024 in Mumbai, where Omnia Technologies will display its latest machinery. The official launch is planned for December 2024.
