New Delhi: BharatPe, a fintech company based in Delhi, has stepped into the investment market with a new app, Invest BharatPe, aiming to make investments simpler. Available on the Google Play Store and App Store, the app’s first offering lets users invest in 24-karat digital gold, starting at Rs 100. This feature was developed in partnership with Safegold, a Mumbai-based firm.
Due to the festive season, BharatPe is adding a 1.1% free gold bonus for each purchase. CEO Nalin Negi shared that this period is a good time for financial planning, and wants to support users in beginning their investment journeys.
Looking ahead, BharatPe is planning to add more options to the app, including fixed deposits and possibly mutual funds, aiming to create a full investment suite for users. This move marks the shift from its core payment services to a broader role in financial services, expanding options for consumers looking to manage their money all in one place.
