Bengaluru: IBM has introduced its latest AI model, “Granite 3.0,” to help businesses looking to adopt generative AI. Unlike competitors like Microsoft, these models will be open-source, which charges for similar tools.
IBM also offers the Granite models for commercial use on its Watsonx platform, a paid tool that helps companies run customized AI models in their data centers. Some of these models will also be available through Nvidia’s AI software, as the models were trained using Nvidia’s H100 GPUs.
This release is part of IBM’s broader push to provide AI solutions that businesses can easily integrate, as demand for generative AI tools continues to rise. With more companies looking to incorporate AI into their operations, IBM’s new models aim to offer a flexible and scalable solution.
