New Delhi: India, the US, Australia, and Japan are continuing their ‘Quad Cyber Challenge’ to promote better cybersecurity habits and awareness. The initiative, which started in February 2023, encourages responsible online behavior and stronger cyber defenses.
This year, the focus is on cybersecurity education and building a skilled workforce. India’s National Cyber Security Coordinator will speak to students as part of the Cyber Swachhta Abhiyaan, promoting cyber hygiene during Cyber Security Awareness Month. Workshops for students and teachers will also highlight cybersecurity careers and the importance of online safety.
On October 10, the US hosted a ‘Quad Cyber Challenge’ event at the White House, focusing on youth talent in cybersecurity. Japan and Australia will also hold events this month to discuss the growing importance of cybersecurity jobs and skills.
The ‘Quad Cyber Challenge’ aims to build a safer digital environment by raising awareness and training the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. All four nations are committed to working together to tackle cyber threats and promote stronger online security practices.
