Mumbai: Maharashtra State Cyber Department has joined hands with L&T Technology Services Limited, a digital and R&D services company, to launch India’s first integrated state-level Cyber Command and Control Centre (CCC). The initiative aims to protect citizens, businesses, and critical infrastructure against cyber crimes by creating a safe and robust digital environment with advanced technology and expertise.
The facility was inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis. The project is expected to position Maharashtra at the forefront of Cybersecurity to facilitate and fast-track cybercrime investigations, improve conviction rates, build capacity within the police force, and raise citizen awareness regarding cyber crimes. The CCC will be a one-stop shop for all grievance management through multiple channels like 14407 (operational from 15th October), web portal, mobile app, etc.
The unique features of the centre include:
- A dedicated command and control centre at Mahape
A platform integrated with over 50 global forensic technologies, 17 threat intelligence tools, 13 cyber security tools utilizing AI and Blockchain technologies
Participation from over 150 cybercrime forensics, investigation, and technology experts
Capacity to support 50 geographically distributed District Cyber Police Stations across the state
