Ranchi: Chandra Shekhar Tiwari has been selected as the next Director (Technical) of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a coal sector PSU under the Ministry of Coal. Currently working as General Manager (Mining) at CCL, Tiwari was recommended for the role by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) after a recent selection meeting.
Tiwari was chosen from a group of 11 candidates, including applicants from other Coal India Limited subsidiaries like NLC India, Northern Coalfields, and Eastern Coalfields. His new role will focus on managing and overseeing technical strategies within CCL, as the company continues to navigate challenges in the coal and energy sectors.
This appointment aligns with CCL’s plans to strengthen its technical leadership, with Tiwari expected to bring valuable expertise to the organization’s operations.
