NetApp India promotes Vasanthi Ramesh to Managing Director

Bengaluru: Vasanthi Ramesh has been promoted to the role of Managing Director of NetApp India by NetApp, a prominent data infrastructure firm. She will assume this new responsibility in addition to her current position as Vice President (VP) of Engineering, Unified Manageability Framework.

Vasanthi has around three decades of experience in consumer and business applications. With an emphasis on client solutions for both traditional data centers and public clouds, she has been essential in building NetApp’s range of manageability and data protection solutions. Vasanthi will oversee NetApp India’s site operations in her new position as Managing Director, concentrating on NetApp Excellerator and Academia Connect. She will also concentrate on strengthening NetApp’s interaction with GCC platforms and trade associations like NASSCOM in order to further support the company’s leadership and reputation in India.

Vasanthi is an alumnus of the University of Hyderabad, where she graduated with a degree in Statistics. Additionally, she earned a master’s in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
