New Delhi: IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl and telecommunications company Nokia have expanded their partnership to enhance data center networking solutions for global enterprises. The collaboration aims to address the growing demand for modern, efficient, and secure data center networks amidst the rise of AI adoption, hybrid IT environments, and high-performance computing workloads.
The partnership combines Kyndryl’s expertise in network management and consulting with Nokia’s capabilities in deploying large-scale network infrastructure. Together, the companies aim to help enterprises tackle challenges such as low-latency connectivity, increased data center workloads, and the need for automated solutions.
As part of the expanded collaboration, Kyndryl plans to integrate Nokia’s Event-Driven Automation (EDA) platform into its Kyndryl Bridge system. This integration will provide real-time data insights and enable full automation of data center networks. The move is designed to support enterprises in meeting regulatory requirements, reducing risks, and accelerating their technology modernization efforts.
Paul Savill, Kyndryl’s Global Network and Edge Computing Practice Leader, emphasized the critical role of reliable and scalable data center networks in supporting enterprise IT transformation. Similarly, Federico Guillén, President of Nokia Network Infrastructure, highlighted the importance of creating secure and AI-driven solutions for businesses navigating digital transformation.
The collaboration also strengthens Kyndryl’s portfolio, which includes services such as software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), private 5G networks, and edge computing. By leveraging Nokia’s advanced network technology, the partnership aims to provide businesses with tools to modernize their data center operations efficiently.
This development reflects the increasing need for innovative and flexible solutions in the enterprise networking space, driven by the rapid evolution of digital technologies and the integration of AI into business operations.
