New Delhi: JBM Group, an Indian automotive company, has partnered with Singapore-based Keppel Ltd to advance clean energy and sustainable infrastructure projects. The collaboration will focus on developing electric mobility solutions, EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The partnership also aims to address critical challenges such as e-waste management, urban decarbonization, and the promotion of electrified transport systems. Both organizations will conduct feasibility studies to explore the implementation of EV charging networks and BESS, particularly in industrial and commercial sectors.
JBM Group, known for its expertise in electric vehicle technology and battery innovation, will work alongside Keppel, which specializes in clean energy and resource circularity. The two companies plan to deliver projects like electromobility hubs and resource recovery facilities to support India’s energy transition and decarbonization efforts.
This partnership aligns with India’s broader goals outlined in the India Cooling Action Plan and energy transition policies. It also builds on the strengthened ties between India and Singapore under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), which focuses on sustainability and advanced manufacturing.
Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman of JBM Group, emphasized the significance of the alliance in contributing to global decarbonization goals. Similarly, Cindy Lim, CEO of Keppel Infrastructure, highlighted the growing energy demands in India and the need for innovative, sustainable solutions.
The partnership reflects a global push toward clean energy and sustainable development, with both companies leveraging their respective expertise to create impactful solutions in mobility and energy systems. As urbanization and electrification accelerate, such collaborations are expected to play a key role in achieving sustainability targets.
