New Delhi, Apr 24 (APAC Media): The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Hajipur has signed an MoU with Boehringer Ingelheim India Pvt. Ltd.Â
The partnership aims to strengthen collaborative research and advance healthcare innovation.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Manoj Joshi, Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. The partnership reflects a growing emphasis on academia–industry collaboration to bridge the gap between research and real-world application.

- Enhanced opportunities for scientific exchange and innovation
- Hands-on training and skill development for students

- Support for scaling research into preclinical development
The initiative aims to build research capacity at NIPER Hajipur while promoting a resource-efficient and integrated research framework. This approach is expected to help translate scientific discoveries into viable therapies.
Speaking on the occasion, Joshi emphasised the importance of industry partnerships in accelerating innovation and commercialization in the pharmaceutical sector.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen ties between academia and industry, contribute to the development of next-generation therapies, and support India’s vision of a robust, innovation-driven healthcare ecosystem.
